Luigi's award-winning short films have played at Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying film festivals around the world including Leeds International Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Tirana International Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival as well as dozens of highly regarded horror festivals.

His films have amassed multiple awards including Best Horror at the British Short Film Awards, the Audience Award at the BIFA-qualifying North East International Film Festival and Best Short at the British Horror Film Festival, proving his films, deeply rooted in genre cinema, have wide-reaching global, critical and audience appeal. Luigi’s most recent award-winning film, Far From the Plains, premiered on WePresent and he is in development on his first feature.
